Feedback is very important nowadays. WHY?

Internet has become the major communication tools in this hectic society. I believe most of us are relying on internet and of course with the assistance of smartphones. Smartphone is one of the most important portable tool in accessing to the world of internet. Thus, there are growing numbers of mobile application right there waiting for users to download and enjoy the fun inside the apps. The rise of these mobile applications makes "customers' feedback" very important.

Allow me to take an example, Tripadvisor, this is a great applications for people who love to travel, users can access to many reviews and feedback made by previous customers. Good or bad feedback and reviews are very important to the businesses' operation. Thus, for us, we provide customers feedback on our blog to further differentiate ourselves from other ordinary food bloggers.

Thus, we are here to provide useful and relevant information to Malaysian online consumers including foreign tourists regarding interesting, local and iconic food in Kampar.

We interviewed one of the customer there and this is what he told us. Here are some feedback from existing customers.

Kam Ling Restaurant's Chicken Bun

“Good dishes with friendly lady boss!”

"We came to this restaurant by recommendation from my colleague. There is an old restaurant and the new restaurant next to each other. The new restaurant is air-conditioned. We ordered their famous bread with chicken curry(Chicken Bun), Wat Tan Ho and Singapore fried mee. The Singapore fried mee was dry and pretty average. The Wat Tan Ho was excellent. Nice colours and great flavour. Their signature dish, chicken curry in the bread was also great. The bread was soft and tasty. The curry chicken was not spicy. I liked the presentation, with the waiter cutting the bread and presenting the dish to us. Interestingly the waiters and waitresses are mostly 'Orang Asli'. "

“Great dinner here!!”
★★★★☆
"Good food, reasonable price.
Atmosphere/environment nice.
Spacious, good service.
Quick to get food after orders.
Chinese local dishes. Love it."

“Famous for its curry chicken in bread”
★★★
"Although we stayed in Tapah for two nights, we never missed our main meals by driving to Kampar which is just 18 km away. Having heard of its famous food we decided to try the famous Kam Ling curry chicken in bread. True to its reputation, we were not disappointed when it comes to taste. The curry gravy was rich with a generous amount of coconut milk. It was not too spicy and it really goes down well with the soft bread which is a little bit sweetish. We ordered a small version which is more than adequate to feast 4 adults."

“Unique and specialty dish”
★★★★★
"While on our way down from Cameron Highland to Kampar to visit a friend's relative studying at one of the university in Kampar, we proceeded to this restaurant to have a taste of the curry chicken roti bun which was the specialty of this restaurant. It was not difficult to find this restaurant. The name of the shop `Kam Ling Restaurant' was visibly seen from the road. It was rather crowded during the lunch time but the service was good and order was attended quickly.

When the food was served, I was amazed by the creativity of the chef who `invented' this dish. The bun was hot and when it was cut and open, the curry smell of the ingredients was so tantalizing and under the yellow neon light of the restaurant the food appeared so appetizing that I could not wait to have a bite on it. The meat was tender and the curry was so uniquely spicy and well prepared and the bread was hot and soft and when you soak it with the curry the taste and flavor made you mouth-watering and wanting for more. With cups of Chinese tea to accompany the dish, it was a great yin and yang balance in this exotic food, I wondered if there is such a similar restaurant in Singapore selling such specialty dish.

This was the first time I saw such a specialty dish. I had seen curry fish head, curry chicken, curry sotong but not curry roti bread. The dish was full of creativity, unique flavor and well cooked. No wonder the restaurant was so crowded during lunch time. You should not miss this when you are in Kampar."

【Lam Kee Coffee Shop's Clay Pot Chicken】

"Great taste, great taste!!"
★★★★★
"I've heard many friends of mine that Lam Kee's Claypot Chicken is fantastic. So, I drove all the way from Penang to Kampar just to have a try about this iconic local food, the claypot chicken. One word, fantastic!" I will definitely come back someday."

"I am a "food hunter", I will travel just to eat"
★★★★☆
This is the third time I came here just to hunt for food. I've tried other Clay Pot Chicken in Kampar, but this is the most satisfied one. The taste is nice, not that salty and most importantly, the lady boss (Tauke) is very friendly.

"Nice food with affordable price"
★★★★☆
"The food is nice, comes with affordable prices for all the range of food available in Lam Kee's. I am very satisfied with the food and also the attitude of the workers."

"Nice food, overall quite satisfied."
★★★☆☆
"The food is very nice and tasty and also comes with affordable prices. The only one thing that I felt unsatisfactory is the hygiene of the coffee shop. I hope that the person in-charge should renovate the shop so that customers may feel the cleanliness and tidiness of the coffee shop and this will attract even more customers from all over the places.
